    ウクライナの救急隊員 3月にハリコフを襲ったロシアのFAB-500爆弾のネジを外し無力化する危険な作業を行う(長尺)

Combat engineers and rescuers removed an undetonated bomb stuck in an apartment building in Kharkiv on Thursday, June 23, Ukrainian officials said. According to the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine, the unexploded bomb, an FAB-500, weighed 1,100 pounds and was carrying 660 pounds of explosives - enough to demolish the entire nine story apartment building. A pyrotechnics crew was able to deactivate the bomb in March, the SES said, by unscrewing the contact detonator, but were unable to fully neutralize it due to ongoing strikes by Russian forces. On Thursday, a 10-person rescue crew used a forklift and truck crane to dislodge it from the building and properly dispose of it. "In the time being the city is calm, and this allowed us to get the job done," said one of the crew members, referring to a decrease in airstrikes. This footage from the SES shows their crew carefully hooking the bomb to the crane and lifting it out of a hole in the roof. They then load the neutralized explosive into a pyrotechnic truck marked with the word "demining" on the side. Ukrainian emergency crews are seen here on Thursday (June 23) attempting to unscrew a Russian FAB-500 bomb that struck Kharkiv back in March during the first weeks of the invasion that was unable to be fully neutralized until now. The bomb with over 300 kg of high-grade explosive was dropped on Kharkiv from a Russian plane and hit the roof of a residential skyscraper in North Saltovka and got stuck on its technical floor. Pyrotechnics crews were able to unscrew the contact detonator in March but due to heavy shelling in the area, it took several months for the crew to use heavy equipment to fully neutralize the bomb. ウクライナ・ハリコフ大学の寮の地下に数ヶ月間避難していた学生たち

Footage posted on June 22 by Ukraine's public broadcaster, Suspilne, shows the living quarters of university students in Kharkiv who were forced to shelter in the basement of their dorm building at the start of the war. In the report, Oleksandr Goryunov, a student at Kharkiv National University, shows the living situation of 30 students who are currently using the basement as a shelter amid the war. He says that when the Russian invasion began on February 24, there were 80 to 90 people living there. "We made a small commune and lived like a big family," Goryunov told Suspilne. The students who remain there either don't have anywhere else to go, or their homes are now in occupied territories, Goryunov said. Kharkiv, the second-largest city in Ukraine, is located 19 miles away from the Russia-Ukraine border and has been a target for Russian troops since the invasion began. Hoards of bottled water, canned food, and a first-aid kit can be seen in the basement. The students created makeshift living and dining areas, as well as a sleeping area with mattresses taken from the dorms upstairs. Goryunov also reveals numerous shovels in case of collapses. Russia's navy is said to have 40 cruise missiles aimed at Ukraine and has warned of "increased attacks" but this has not halted the humanity of Kyiv's locals who have flocked to the city's riverside beaches in an act of defiant relaxation, seen on Monday (June 13). The signs warn that the area is unsafe and that the water isn't meant for swimming but dozens of residents take their needed escape on these Dneiper River shores. "In general, it is disturbing [the air raid sirens and missile warnings], of course, but life needs you to relax a little. Of course, I'm worried about what is happening in the country, but I lie down and rest, we're used to it now," a local named Viktor said to the camera, saying that he was now unemployed as an HVAC installation expert. キーウ近郊 高速道路沿いの惨状をドローン撮影

Drone footage filmed on June 8 captured scenes of destruction on the E95 highway northeast of Kyiv - the remnants of Russia's failed attempt to invade the Ukrainian capital. The video, shot by journalist Sergio Olmos, shows multiple buildings destroyed or damaged in the villages of Zalissya and Bohdanivka, about 10 miles north of Brovary and 20 miles northeast of Kyiv. Heavy fighting took place on various parts of the highway between February and May and, in early March, footage showed Russian tanks moving through Bohdanivka. Russian forces reached that area of Kyiv Oblast via Chernihiv Oblast. The border between the two regions lies about 10 miles to the north of the location depicted in the footage. However, they began retreating from the wider Kyiv area in late May after a five-week assault on the capital, and left Chernihiv Oblast on April 1, according to officials. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russian troops of atrocities against civilians in April, as the Ukrainian army released video of damaged buildings, including a school, and abandoned military vehicles in Bohdanivka Credit: Sergio Olmos via Storyful ( Original Title: Drone Captures Devastation Along Highway Near Kyiv )

Pensions continued to be provided to older residents in the Donbas region of Ukraine, despite continued attacks in the area, footage released on June 7 shows. Footage captured by Current Time shows scenes in the town of Krasnohorivka, located in Donetsk, a region where Russian-backed separatists held significant territory since before the invasion and where conflict has intensified in recent weeks. In the footage, journalist Borys Sachalko described delivering the pensions as a "special operation" that involved collecting local administrative officials and bringing them safely to pick up the money. Sachalko also said the head of the local post office travels with an armed guard now due to the dangerous environment, according to the translation. While most people have left Krasnohorivka, it is mostly pensioners who have remained, Sachalko adds. When asked if she could tell whether artillery fire in the area was incoming or outgoing, an older women replied: "Not anymore. I used to know." "There's no point knowing who is firing and where. Whatever will be, will be. It's fate. You can't avoid death," she added, according to the Current Time translation. An exhibition displaying the destroyed remains of Russian military equipment was opened at Mykhailivska Square in central Kyiv on Saturday, May 28, by Ukraine's defense minister, Oleksii Reznikov, and internal affairs minister, Denys Monastyrskyi. In a press release, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) said most of the equipment was brought in from Kyiv's suburbs, having been used during the Battle of Kyiv, after officials noticed that large numbers of people would stop to observe destroyed military vehicles. Monastyrskyi said the exhibit showed the "heroism and courage" of Ukrainian forces who had repelled Russian attacks. Reznikov said it also served as a reminder that the war was still in its "hot phase", with ongoing fighting in Donetsk and Kharkiv. Speaking to press at the opening of the exhibit, Reznikov also commented on the course of war crimes investigations, saying about 20,000 war crimes had been reported by law enforcement agencies in the country. Reznikov said most suspects would be tried in abstentia, and would include Russian soldiers identified from lists of military units that fought in Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv regions. He said video footage and witness testimony would bolster cases, and that evidence would be presented to both Ukrainian and international courts Credit: MIA Ukraine via Storyful ( Original Title: Destroyed Russian Equipment Goes on Public Display in Kyiv )

A five-month-old baby and his father have died in shelling of Kharkiv, believed to be by Russian forces, on Thursday 26 May. Exclusive video from the scene showed badly damaged buildings from the shelling -- the first time the city has been hit with major strikes in two weeks. The child's mother is in a serious condition and eight people were killed, according to the head of the Ukrainian National Police, Igor Klimenko, on Facebook. "Today the enemy shot Kharkiv. Previously, they hit from howitzers. When the shelling began, a young family was walking on the street: a wife and a husband who had a 5-month-old baby in his arms. The man died immediately," he wrote. Seventeen people were injured, among them a nine-year-old child, he added. Local police said they did not find the child's body at first as the blast had thrown it onto the roof of a building entrance. Speaking in the video, local resident Tatyanna said: "After the first arrival (explosion), we immediately went to the shelter and then there was a second explosion. There was fire and thick smoke after the explosion and we could not understand what was happening, then the military arrived and saved me and my mother." Regional governor Oleh Synehubov said Russian forces hit Shevchenkovsky and Kyiv districts of Kharkiv with artillery and rockets. The city was heavily attacked in the early days of the war but Russian forces were pushed out of the city and life was starting to return to normal. Now there are fears it could be targeted again as Russian forces accelerate offensives in other parts of eastern Ukraine. A dog is being trained to help search-and-rescue divers in Cherkasy, Ukraine, as seen in footage posted on May 25. The video released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine shows Najda diving into water to tow a "victim" with a life preserver back to shore during her training. The ministry said the dog attends daily classes with a team of Cherkasy divers. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine said Najda is a purebred shepherd and was taken from a shelter. "Najda has shown discipline and passion for water from the very first days of meeting her," the service said. "So the divers decided to teach her the necessary commands, including water rescue." The emergency service added, "There are a few more classes of 'dive school' for Najda, but already today the dog is confidently and clearly following the commands and is ready, fully armed to meet the swimming season and keep vacationers safe." キーウ近郊の村で検問所を設置した12歳と5歳の男の子 兵役中の父親たちに代わり村を守る

These two kids have set up their own military-style checkpoint to "defend their village" of Stoyanka, just west of Kyiv. Andrei, 12, and his friend Valentin, 5, built a makeshift dugout after Russian troops were driven out of their home town. The kids (Valentin pictured on the left) are seen talking about their experience of the war - an airstrike had landed in one of their yards: "It fell straight into the yard into a drain, and the car was all in fragments, the windows were broken." The boys also mentioned how a dog that was in close proximity to the explosion survived thanks to the nearby car. Both of their fathers are currently serving in the military so the kids are defending their village while they are gone. Another clip beginning at 40 seconds shows the duo stopping passing cars and speaking to the drivers. "Glory to Ukraine, glory to the heroes! Where are you going?" "To Dmitrovka," the driver responds. The boys also shared that some kind motorists hand them sweets and fruit. Andrei mentioned how a bomb was found in a car that had passed through their village. "The car drove by, but we don't check the trunks, we just say 'glory to Ukraine - glory to the heroes', where you are going, maybe a passport, rarely. "Sometimes they show themselves, sometimes we ask ourselves. Once a red or black car drove past, I don't remember, we didn't check it, it drove through and after two or three villages it was caught there with a bomb." The 12-year-old was then asked his opinion on Vladimir Putin: "He is a bad person, crazy. Doesn't understand anything. He attacked Ukraine unexpectedly, he thinks he will win. But he won't be able to do anything." ( Original Title: Meet the kids that have set up their own military checkpoint near Kyiv )

Ukrainian children wounded in Russia's invasion were recovering from their injuries in a hospital in Lviv, Ukraine, on May 19, Current Time reported. Among the young patients the news service visited were Veronika, 10, from Vuhledar in Ukraine's Donetsk region, and Kira, 15, from Kharkiv. Veronika was left in a coma after an attack on the high-rise residential building where she lived, Current Time said. Shrapnel pierced her skull and ripped off her left thumb, while her right hand was partially paralyzed. Therapists are helping Veronika to walk again. Her family, who neighbors said used their bodies to shield her, died in the attack, Current Time said. The footage shows Veronika blowing out candles on a birthday cake. Teenager Kira was hit by shelling and her friend was killed while they were walking in a park in Kharkiv. "My friend was immediately unconscious and another girl was breathing heavily," Kira said, according to an English translation provided by Current Time. "I was the only one who realized what was happening, but I didn't understand that we were being shelled." Kira had shrapnel wounds and underwent surgery. She was hoping to travel abroad for further treatment. At least 259 Ukrainian children have been killed and 402 injured in Russian attacks since the invasion began in late February, according to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. ウクライナ初代大統領レオニード・クラフチュク氏の葬儀がキーウで執り行われる

Ukraine's first president, Leonid Kravchuk, was buried at Baikove Cemetery in Kyiv on Tuesday, May 17, a week after his death at the age of 88, officials said. Kravchuk served as the country's first president between December 5, 1991, and July 19, 1994, following the collapse of the Soviet Union. President Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife, Olena Zelenska, attended the funeral ceremony at the Ukrainian House venue in central Kyiv and laid flowers on Kravchuk's coffin. Also in attendance were the second, third, and fifth presidents of Ukraine - Leonid Kuchma, Viktor Yushchenko, and Petro Poroshenko. The only former president not in attendance was Viktor Yanukovych, who was removed from power in 2014 and has since been exiled in Russia. In a statement, Zelensky described Kravchuk as "the man to whom one could turn for wise advice" and whose work had been pivotal to the formation of an independent Ukraine. "I am sure that his invaluable experience will help us in defeating the aggressor and building a strong, peaceful, European state of Ukraine," Zelensky said. In July 2020, Zelensky appointed Kravchuk as the new head of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) for Ukraine, a group formed of delegates from Ukraine, Russia, and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe that aimed to seek a diplomatic resolution to the conflict in east Ukraine. Speaking about his decision to join the TCG, Kravchuk said, "I decided that if I can do something to speed up peace in Donbas, I will do it until my last breath." In July 2021, Ukrainian media reported that Kravchuk had spent at least a month in intensive care after undergoing heart surgery at the end of June. 'Stefania' was originally written as a tribute to the frontman Oleh Psiuk's mother but has become a war anthem since Russia's invasion in late February. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky hailed his country's win in the Eurovision Song Contest, pledging to host the competition in the beleaguered city of Mariupol in 2023. This footage was sourced from the Azov Battalion. ( Original Title: Ukrainian soldier trapped in Azovstal sings Eurovision-winning song )

A Ukrainian serviceman proposed to his partner in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv on May 14, amid reports of Russian troop withdrawals from the area. This footage by Roman Stepanovych (@rmnua) captured the heartwarming moment, showing the soldier dressed in fatigues kneeling on one knee as he presents his partner with flowers and a ring. She accepts and the couple embrace, prompting celebratory reactions from onlookers, including motorcyclists. "I just went to get some espresso in [Kharkiv] but witnessed a very unusual proposal," Stepanovych wrote of the experience on Twitter. "Bikers, soldiers, flowers and tears."
