- Streets were deserted in the central Chinese city of Zhengzhou on May 4 after the local government imposed restrictions on movement and ordered mass COVID-19 testing to contain an outbreak of coronavirus. A Weibo post from city authorities said the restrictions would be in place between May 4 and May 10. The post also ordered mandatory working from home where possible and online learning for kindergartens and schools. This video shows large intersections in the city's urban areas with little traffic following the imposition of the city's lockdown.
